Puffing Bear is a new company, formed by me, James Higgs. I will be writing and publishing high-quality software for Mac OS X and iPhone. My first application is a small utility for Mac OS X that can make shrinking URLs, using services like TinyURL, is.gd and bit.ly, a great deal easier.

Shrinker, as I have imaginatively decided to call it, is now in public beta, and you can download it here.

Shrinker will be a free application. I’ve benefited enormously from the generosity of the Mac developer community while I’ve been learning Cocoa, and this is my small way of saying thank you and giving something back. Hopefully you’ll find it useful.
